Kubus 8 - Gold Plated

Designer Mogens Lassen

Mogens Lassen designed the very first Kubus candle holder in 1962 for the interior of a restaurant in northern Zealand, Denmark. The geometric candleholder series has since become a much-loved icon of Danish design thanks to its timeless, Modernist form and enduring function. Kubus 8 is a mood-enhancing addition to any space. With room for eight candles it creates a cosy atmosphere wherever it is placed. It is available in a range of metals and finishes.

Mogens Lassen

Considered one of Denmark’s greatest and most influential architects, Mogens Lassen pioneered Danish Functionalism, taking his cues from Bauhaus sensibilities. His interior designs are a natural continuation of his architectural approach and add energy and atmosphere to everyday living spaces and tasks. From decorative objects to larger furniture designs, his designs delicately balance presence without drawing undue attention, finding their natural place in any space.
