Black-painted solid oak with an oiled finish has undergone a painting process, resulting in a black surface to alter the natural colour of the wood, without masking the natural veining. Matte varnish is then applied to provide a smooth, non-reflective surface, adding a layer of protection against wear and moisture and preserving the colour and texture of the black-painted oak.
