Glass is composed of various inorganic compounds, mainly silica (sand), which is melted and then rapidly cooled to form a non-crystalline, shapeless structure. The cooling process gives glass its unique properties, including transparency. Soda lime glass is used for our designs and is made by combining silica, soda ash and limestone for stability, durability and workability respectively. Mouth-blown into the desired shape, each piece features unique characteristics such as small air bubbles and variations in shape, thickness and colour tone. Resistant to impact, heat, scratches and surface damage and noted for its transparency, it is durable for everyday use.
